Her appointment comes as 8PP continues to see demand from law firms across its key areas of expertise, including housing disrepair, consumer finance, financial mis-selling, costs and civil litigation funding.
Grace’s appointment follows the recruitment of Nathan Kirby as Junior Clerk and represents further investment in 8PP’s clerking team as the chambers continues to grow its counsel team and national client base.
As part of the Clerking team, Grace will support the day-to-day management of instructions and counsel diaries, working closely with solicitors and barristers to help ensure cases are allocated and progressed efficiently.
Craig Leigh, Barrister & Managing Director of 8PP Barristers & Associates, said:

“Grace brings valuable clerking experience and a real enthusiasm for the profession. She is a strong addition to the team, and her appointment provides us with additional capacity to support both our counsel and our growing number of instructing firms.”
Grace Evans said:
“I feel fortunate to have joined 8PP and am genuinely excited about the opportunities ahead. I’m looking forward to building new relationships with clients and colleagues, continuing to develop professionally and contributing to the next stage of 8PP’s growth.”
8PP has continued to expand since launching in March 2024, growing both its counsel and clerking teams as demand from law firms for its advocacy, drafting and advisory services has increased.
The chambers operates a distinctive employed model rather than the traditional self-employed chambers structure, providing law firms with a stable, transparent and commercially focused advocacy service. Fixed-fee arrangements are also available across a number of areas of work, providing instructing solicitors with greater clarity and certainty where appropriate.
